Family Vacation in Florida

A relaxing vacation was just what the doctor ordered.

Doctor Visit Update

22 pounds 4 oz 30 inches long
Dr. Hirsh noticed during Aidens physical examination that his liver is lower than it should be. This can mean a number of things. At the least, it can be a sign of a viral infection. She requested that he be reexamined in 30 days. She hopes that the problem corrects itself. I hope she is right.

A few days later, Aiden began to show symptoms of a cold. Perhaps the doctor saw it coming before symptoms manifest? Keep your fingers crossed.

Remote Control

I've been looking for the TV remote control for hours. I checked everywhere 3 times. I remember the last time I saw it.....Aiden had it. I also saw him trying to put his book inside the VCR. Of course it would not fit inside so I didn't think anything of it. Later on today something told me to look inside the VCR ...... and there it was.

Officer On Duty

AJ & I take Justin to therapy at the hospital every Tuesday. Aiden makes a lot of friends while we wait in the lobby. Officer Arty lets Aiden sit in his chair at his security station. I think AJ should get paid for taking over his shift.

Facing Foward

It is safe to face Aiden foward in his car seat. He loves his new found space as he kicks his legs and smiles. I love being able to turn around and see his face. I get excited each time as if I have never see him before. I better be careful not to look back to often while driving.

Picky Eater

It seems as if overnight my son has become a picky eater. In the past I bragged about him eating everything I offered him. I considered it a compliment to my "good cookin". All of a sudden he does not like fruit, hash browns, or grilled cheese sandwich. Is it the soft textures that he no longer likes? He tastes it, pushes it out of his mouth whith his tongue, then drops it on the floor. This toddler stage is presenting ... new challenges.

I Hate Snaps

Whose idea was it to make onsies and shirts and pants and overalls with snap closures? Changing diapers all day is one thing but do I have to put their clothes back on each time? Aiden's snaps + Justin's snaps + Nathan's snaps = INSANITY. Can I get a AMEN?

Bounce House

TeeTee Georgy has the coolest things for kids. Aiden had a blast in the backyard playing in their very own Bounce House. Who says you have to go Out to have fun?

First Hair Cut

I need your help deciding when is the best time to cut your son's hair. I can't make up my mind. A part of me is glad that his hair finally grew in, so why rush to cut it. Another side of me wants it be even and perfect. My poor baby has a natural "Timmy". For those of you not familiar with this expression, a Timmy is a mistake amateur barbers make resulting in a embarrassing line in your head instead of a blending or fading it.

Double Team

The brouzins enjoy the breeze of a fan on one of the first hot days this summer but they double team me once they realize I'm recording them.

Just Me & My Pooh

Aidens father and I are co-parents. This means that we share parenting time and unfortunately I don't have Aiden on the weekends, when I am not working. I hate this because I'm missing the chance to have one-on-one quality time with AJ.

Friday was wonderful because I didn't have to watch my nephews. I took Aiden to the zoo for the first time. We spent the whole day there. I was happy to see him enjoying himself. I was suprised at how attentive and responsive he was to the animals, even the small butterflies inside the bird exhibit.

Funny AJ

Aiden just learned to clap his hands and follow along as mom plays Indian Chief and Donkey Kong. This is too cute but hard to describe. You have to come over and see it for yourself.

Mommy's Super Hero

I found the perfect pajamas that say what I have been feeling. Aiden is Mommy's Super Hero coming to my rescue any time I'm feeling down. His smiles always cheer me up.

Brouzinly Love

Its about 4pm.....hours passed nap time. The brouzins finally fall asleep together after playing and fighting sleep all day.
