AJ loves banana puree.
Dr. Hirsh told me to increase the amount I feed him and to add an additional meal to the day = twice a day. I didn't think AJ was ready but he proved me wrong by eating bananas twice today.
For the record, Aiden does not like Peaches. He does not get that from me. I'm craving peach cobbler as we speak.

Doctor Visit Update

Aiden weighs 17.4 pds and is 26 1/2 inches long. (still not bigger than Justin but close)
He got his flu and H1N1 vaccination. Now I can relax and breathe again.

Yay! Aiden is sleeping longer through the night. I got a better nights rest this week because he only woke up once each night. NEXT STOP, 8 hours of non interrupted sleep. I can't wait.

It's Official

Starting December 1st, I'm going to be a full time mommy and nanny.
Georgy is returning to work full time so I have no one to watch Aiden while I am work. I'm nervous about leaving my career but happy to be home with AJ. Now he and his cousin (+baby cousin-to-be) can continue to grow up together.

Help!
I posted a comment 2 months ago about Aiden beginning to sleep through the night. Well, that only lasted 1 week. He has inconsistently been waking up 2-6 times a night since then. It has been 4 months since mother has gotten a good nights rest. When will it happen?

Some say that this is only the beginning of restless nights because different situations present themselves as children get older....peeing in the bed, nightmares, and "my child is hanging out and broke curfew". What do you think?

I love my boy in his big boy clothes. My son has outgrown most of the clothes given to him at the baby shower. Here are a few pix of him in the clothes I picked out.

First Solids

Yay! My son is growing up. AJ is eating rice cereal for the first time. He is not used to being spoon fed so most of it ended up on his face and not in his belly. We will try again tomorrow.

Doctor Visit Update

AJ got another round of shots at todays doctor appointment. Once again, my son was a G.

Adventures in babysitting

This is my 2nd week watching the boys. It is not as hard as I expected. I spend most of the day acting as referee between the two. Justin has learned to crawl and loves to crawl straight to Aiden. I have to make sure that he is gentle with him. Justin is at the stage where he puts everything in his mouth, including my son.
