Pulling Up

AJ stood up , yesterday, on his own by pulling up on the sofa. So far today he has done it twice...trying to reach my laptop.
Aiden gets into so much more things as he becomes more and more moblie
I have to admit that I love it when he follows me around the house. I've got my own personal minnie me-tag-a-long. Its nice when I don't have to d the chasing....after him and his brouzin.

Aiden learned how to take his diaper off the other day. Thank goodness there was no poop in it. Imagine if there was.
Maybe I shouldn't let him play in a pile of diapers he creates. He must have studied its design and thus knows just how to remove it.

I see it

After several months of teething, 1 tooth is beginning to pierce through. Poor Aiden has been miserable for a weeks. Hopefully the following teeth won't hurt so bad.

Lets Shop

Aidens 1st time sitting up front in a shopping cart.

Fitting the padded cover on the cart was time consuming but navigating it was so much easier.....until AJ's shoe dropped to the floor blocking the wheels and preventing me from moving. We almost lost both his shoes that day because he kicked his legs with delight getting used to his new found freedom.

Side Comment: I am so glad to be done with infant seats in the store. Why do they sit so high up on shopping carts? I could barely see where I was going.

Busted

Justin used to be responsible for pulling the DVD's, CD's, and cartridges off the shelves. Now it is "you know who".

Look at Justin sitting by in the distance as to say, "Don't blame me".

Ready...Set...NotQuiteGo

Check out the latest progress in Aidens attempt at crawling....FOWARD. He can already crawl backwards but I have not caught this on video yet.

Obsessed

Today was not AJ's first snowfall but it must be the first time he is old enough to take notice. I call it obsession. He starred out the window for the longest time despite my attempts to get him to smile at the camera. He normally smiles at the chance for a photo op.

Almost

Yay, Aiden is ALMOST crawling. Today he was strong enough to get on his hands and knees and soon he will learn to move foward.
Don't get it twisted, he's been getting around for weeks. He manuevers around the living room floor without crawling. No, he is not scooting on his back like his brousin Justin. What AJ does is called creeping and he combines it with rolling and scooting on his tummy. It tickles me to see him in action.

8 Months

Save me a seat

No more sitting in an infant carrier inside a sling at restaurants. Aiden is all grown up in his high chair having a ball at Carrabas Restaurant. The waitress was nice enough to warm up his bottle so that he could eat along with mommy.

I like dressing up

1st Assembly

In the past I have kept AJ away from large crowds for fear that he may catch a cold, flu, or any other contagious illness. Now he is old enough with most of his vaccinations so today is his first time at the Bellville assembly hall. As expected, he did not like sitting "still" for several hours. I spent half the time back and forth to the mothers room.
